Warrington are without full-back Richie Mathers through suspension and the injured Jon Clarke and Mickey Higham.

But up to five players could return after injury - Adrian Morley, Paul Rauhihi, Simon Grix, Chris Hicks and Vinnie Anderson

Luke Adamson is hoping to feature for Salford despite having 24 stitches in an eye wound last week.

Ian Sibbit (quad) is also in contention but Rob Parker (fractured skull) is not yet ready to return.

Warrington Wolves coach Tony Smith told

I could go into the debate of too many games and whether it has a catch-up but injuries are part and parcel of our game.

"We'd like to find some form for our own sake, we've been a little bit off lately, for whatever the reasons and we'd like to get back in the form we're happy with.

"Salford have had some good wins not so long ago and they've had some tough games with some close results in recent times. I think they're right up to speed in Super League now.
