Warrington hooker Micky Higham will make his comeback after a three-month absence in the Challenge Cup final against Huddersfield on Saturday.

Higham starts on the bench, as does forward Tyrone McCarthy, 20, who will make his third senior appearance after being selected ahead of Paul Rauhihi.

Vinnie Anderson will play at stand-off for the first time this season.

Martin Aspinwall starts from the bench for Huddersfield as replacement for injured second rower Danny Kirmond.

Simon Finnigan had also been in contention for what is the only change to the Giants 17 from the team that defeated St Helens in their semi-final.

Aspinwall was a winger at former club Wigan but has been converted into a forward and Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown said: "His form has been really good in the back row and he also gives us flexibility."

It had been thought that Andy Raleigh could replace the injured Kirmond but the former Hull KR player is short of match fitness, having only just returned from an eight-week lay-off with an Achilles problem.

Warrington coach Tony Smith has opted to go with Higham after fellow hooker Jon Clarke failed to recover from an ankle injury.
